Translations regarding the General Data Protection Regulation
On 25 May 2018 the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) takes effect. This means that effective from that date the same privacy legislation applies throughout the European Union. This will affect all undertakings that collect data of their clients regardless of the manner. As a translation agency we also had to implement the necessary changes in order to operate fully in line with the new legislation. Think about adjustments in the general terms and conditions, the privacy policy and the website. Our translators were bound by the arrangements in a so-called processing agreement and confidentiality agreements were expanded. Hence, we are proud to say that we are now ready for the new legislation.
